Description: Located in the Harlem Heights community of Fort Myers, Florida, Gladiolus Learning & Development Center provides a nationally accredited child development program that has been awarded the Gold Seal of Excellence by the State of Florida. For more than 38 years, Gladiolus Learning & Development Center has offered a secure and enriching environment for a diverse population of children including those from low income, working families. We are a state-licensed not-for-profit organization that provides an educational program for 163 children from four weeks to twelve years of age, including after school and a full-time summer schedules. Some of our teachers are former students and we also have third generation children in our program. We see increased educational levels, job security and higher income levels from generation to generation in our children's families.
