Description: The Boys Club of Cleveland was incorporated on June 1, 1964, and became a member of Boys Club of America in December 1965. The first Club house was located on South Broad Street in what some of the old timers will remember as Moore’s Funeral Home. The first president was Rev. Harold Ray. The Club became a member of the United Fund in January 1967. Their mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. A Boys & Girls Club provides a safe place to learn and grow, ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals, life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, hope and opportunity.
