| Findings: Health and Safety Concerns. There were concerns a child had been repeatedly given dairy products when the child has a documented dairy allergy/intolerance. The health department performed an investigation and confirmed that staff had given dairy products to a child with a milk allergy/intolerance on at least one occasion. Resolution: According to the provider, the facility has implemented proactive measures to prevent the incident from happening again. These measures include training staff on children's individual allergies and using color-coded plates to easily identify plates for children with food allergies. FARE allergy response procedures were provided by the health department as well. | |||
