This is the most challenging childcare facility that I have ever experienced. One of my family members attended the center and it was horrible. On several occasions, the child came home with the odor of bowel because he was not clean properly. Daily, the child left the center with his clothing, face, and hands unclean from food and mucus. His shirt appeared to be used to clean his nose. The worst issues that we experienced were the injuries that were sustained. The child experienced bruises on his forehead, deep scratches, and falls from a chair. All of these incidents were discussed with employees and they verified that the injuries did happen at their daycare. The last fall from a chair resulted in a very bad cut to the child’s lip which had to be medically treated. I witnessed the employees on their cell phones nearly every day that I picked the child up from the center. There was absolutely no positive interaction with the children that I witnessed during my visits. The staff is very unprofessional and uncaring. Either the owners don't know, or they don't care anything about the welfare of the children. I would not recommend sending your children to this facility.
I will start out with the postive. They have been around for years and have a genuine love and care for the children. They want the best for your child and try to help anyone out. They do a great circle time twice a day children count to 10 in spanish and when they go to the big group they count to 20 in spanish. They also teach them how to say the pledge. Have little graduations assist in potty training. Have water play in the summers.
They negative is that they are not very organized and do not have good lunches and breakfasts. The snacks are always sugary cookies and juices which makes the children very hyper. Nap times are very long...they put them to nap as soon as lunch is over and dont wake them up until after 2.
I would take my infant to school here, but after my child was about 2 I would take them out.
