Description: Hi, my name is Laquetta and I am the owner of Blossoming Minds Home Daycare. I am formerly a fully trained Army Family Child Care provider.Currently I am licensed through the state of Kansas. I originally open my home up for daycare in Germany in 2003. My youngest daughter has Down Syndrome, after she was born I feared going back to work and leaving her in the care of someone else. My original goal was to be able to care for my child and care for children of service members in a safe, caring, loving, family environment (each of my families had one parent deployed when I opened). I have several years experience working with children in different settings.I have worked with children with Autism for 3 years in an elementary school in Germany, as a substitute teacher in Germany and in Leavenworth and Fort Leavenworth School Districts and was a childcare provider at Fort Leavenworth CDC for two years. What started out as a way to help care for my child and for others has now become my passion.
