Description: The Birch Lane School houses over 800 students in grades K through 6. The school is in Nassau County, south of Merrick Road, adjacent to John Burns Park. At Birch Lane we provide a wide range of academic, social and cultural arts programs. The teachers work with a broad academic range of students and have developed differentiated enriching programs to meet the needs of all. Our highly trained staff is alert to the needs of every child. This results in the early identification of problems and prompt remediation by skilled professionals, as well as the development of programs that challenge all students to reach their potential.
