Description: Located at 330 Massapequa Avenue between Merrick Road and Sunrise Highway, Fairfield Elementary School is home to nearly 700 students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade and has been dedicated to excellence since 1925. The faculty and staff at Fairfield strive to advance the achievement of all students by creating and maintaining an academically rigorous environment where students are supported and nurtured so that all of them have the opportunity to meet their maximum potential.
Educating the students of Fairfield is truly a team effort. We have a highly involved and active PTA. Members work cohesively with our administration, teachers and staff to provide an increasingly wide array of programs and activities that are integrated with our curriculum. Committed to the community, the entire Fairfield team emphasizes and promotes a spirit of collaboration and cooperation in all of its efforts to enrich and educate its students.
We are grateful for the chance to have such a positive impact on all of the children and families who pass through our doors. It is our goal to meet the varied needs of each individual student and to help each one of our children by strengthening their character and bolstering their academic, social and emotional development.
