About the Provider

Description: Bethesda Childcare Center (BCC) is a ministry of Bethesda Baptist Church that aims to assist families by providing Christian childcare and Pre-school education in order to “train up a child in the way he should go” (Proverbs 22:6). BCC desires to give quality Christian childcare and a Pre-school education that meets children’s spiritual, mental, and physical needs all while partnering with their parents in leading them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at an early age. Not the greatest place. Jul 07, 2016
I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My child went to this facility for almost 2 years. You should be mindful that their "policies" on different things will change on a whim (the Parent Handbook is updated often). The employees are judgmental especially when it comes to mothers/fathers that aren't married. As far as the care for my child, he had a lot of incident reports (at least 2/month). The academic aspect of it was inconsistent to say the least (sometimes a daily report from teacher/caregiver, but often times not). I would have chosen a different child care facility for my child, one that was more consistent, but my child's mother had primary physical custody at the time and this was close to her job then.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

I began my experience with bethesda when it was operated as a loving, caring, Spiritual organization. Management changed in the last 18 months and it has went from a 5 star organization to an 2 star organization. Management is far from exceptional and Bethesda is having trouble with keeping quality teachers that have a passion for kids. The high turnover rate with staff causes many challenges and management needs training. Most of the great staff that spent over 5 years with Bethesda was dismissed or separated. I hope that Bethesda improves and I have faith that it will, especially with most off the staff and management are members of Bethesda Baptist Church and Family. Please be mindful that majority of the staff is family members of the church and with Bethesda Christian Academy.
