About Us Button Synagogue Life Button Education Button News and Events Button ecc logo BETH SHOLOM CONGREGATION JOAN E. BOBROW EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER 11825 Seven Locks Road, Potomac, MD 20854 301.279.7010 x212 Welcome to The Beth Sholom Congregation Joan E. Bobrow Early Childhood Center(ECC). We believe that each child is a unique and special individual. We also believe that learning is a joyful experience when it occurs in a warm, positive and accepting and healthy environment. Our program is designed to meet the individual needs of each and every child and encourages them to grow and develop at their own pace and in their own way. Our children are able to explore the world around them through a variety of hands-on experiences. They develop cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through classroom experiences such as dramatic play, block building, science, cooking, story telling, music and peer play activities, as well as through outdoor play and physical activity. We are committed to developing in our children a strong sense of pride in their Jewish heritage, as they observe and participate in traditional Jewish customs, rituals and holiday observances. We are also committed to teaching the Jewish values of sustainablity and stewardship of our environment and G-d given planet.
