Staff #1 did an intensive lifeguard training that was over 10 hours long that we thought counted towards his training hours, since having a certified lifeguard is required for centers that go swimming. We also believed that the New Provider Orientation would count for his hours as well. Now that we have been told that these trainings do not count, we know to require him to do additional training hours. He has completed an additional 7.5 hours to make up for the missing hours.
