About the Provider

Barnes Hill Learning Center & Daycare is a CT state licensed family home childcare and learning center where a child's natural desire to learn is stimulated through meaningful, appropriate and playful learning experiences.

We offer a safe, nurturing and creative environment for your child to learn, play and grow in our small capacity facility (maximum of 6 children). This allows our childcare provider to cater to your child's individual attention, needs and one-on-one support and encouragement they require to be happy, healthy, lifelong learners.

We use a full curriculum with age appropriate learning activities and weekly themes engaging your child in music, arts and crafts, movement and creative play.

Ms Nicole, owner/operator, holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and is a CT certified teacher. All of our staff is CPR and First Aid certified.

Daily Schedule

* Morning Welcome and Choice Center Time

* Breakfast

* Morning Meeting - Weekly themes, Letter Box, Story

* Circle Time - Calendar, Weather, Songs, Dance, Yoga or Movement

* Table Time - Arts & Crafts, Fine motor skills

* Morning Snack

* Outside Playtime (weather permitting)

* Lunch

* Read Aloud

* Rest time / Quiet time

* Afternoon Learning Centers / Sensory Play

* Afternoon Snack

* Outside or Indoor Free play until pick-up
