Worst decision of my life to let my child go to this school. When I tell you how unprofessional and unorganized this school is. My daughter started going here in kindergarten. When i took the tour of the school , Mrs. Jackson who is the principle, secretary and all the above, I specifically asked her if the teacher's are licensed by the State of Georgia, she informed me all her teacher's are lichened and highly trained. I was very delighted to hear that so we signed up for my daughter to go here. The kindergarten was ok. She also informed me that they had a computer lab foreign teacher, and extracurricular activities which they don't have either. The school relay takes filed trips my daughter was here for 3 years only took one field trip. When they do take a filed trip the whole school has to go on the trip. She brought stuff home to learn and it was ok. I never seen her bring no social studies, science work home. It was always spelling words. Fast forward to my daughter going to the 1 grade, this is when i notice a huge change in her learning . It was very repetitive work . There was no social studies, science or anything. I was assured by the teacher and Mrs. Jackson that they are learning what they need to be learning at that grade level. The pandemic happened and i had no choice but to keep here there. We decided to give the school one more shot at 2 grade. I was so disappointed and my daughter is actually way behind in her academics . I had no one idea Mrs. Jackson was combining grades , basically my daughter was repeating 1 grade all over. My daughter came home everyday saying that some of the kids were drawing guns or cursing and when I informed Mrs. Jackson she said she would handled it but it continued. I tried to sing my daughter up to several other private schools and when they did an assessment they informed me she is way behind in learning and where she needs to be. So now we have a tutor who tutors her to catch up on where she needs to be. When i informed Mrs. Jackson , she was basically brushing it off. My daughter was making 100 on reading and phonics and she was way behind in that. Mrs. Jackson also informed me that she send my file to another private school were i singed my daughter up only to received an email from the school saying that she informed them my daughter will not be coming there. I also found out while tutoring other schools that STEM is including into the tuition at this school you pay for it on top of the tuition. In addition my daughter never took a standardized test at this school to see where she is at and if she is retaining the information. I also notice there were not enough teachers to teach the kids because 5-8 grade were together. Please save your money and go somewhere else and do your research on the school to make sure they have top teachers who are actually licensed . I learned an expensive lesson . lastly, when we were leaving the school Mrs. Jackson was very very unprofessional and very argumentative with me for simple things i was asking for such as my daughter's file. This is my experience with the school. ( This is solely my opinion and my experience with this school).
