Alvarado, Narcisa V - Bridgeport CT Family Child Care Home

She is so horrible, she treats her grandkids better than the kids that she watches she never lets them go in the pool. All she wants them to do is sleep take a nap watch tv etc. That's a damn shame I will never bring my child here again!!!!!!

I read all the reviews and we are currently using Chachi for daycare. The negative review on this site I have to say must be falsely stated or mistaken. My aunt is a daycare inspector and although we were referred by mutual friends I did run this choice past my aunt. Ellie is my first grandchild and my daughter was very nervous of going back to work. With that said we prayed hard for a good person. Needless to say we got more than what we asked for. Not only is Chachi incredibly pleasant but her family as well and she was highly recommended and held in high regard by my aunt who reviews daycares for a living.
With that being said, for all who read the above reviews, spend some time with Chachi yourself. Not only is she great with my granddaughter she is extremely helpful to my daughter who is a first time mom. She is our answered prayer, and we have had family offer to care for our precious one, and turned it all down for the reliability of Narcisas daycare.

Why are all these reviews a day or so apart? Seems fishy to me. My son was there for 5 and a half months before "Chachi" the owner kicked him out her program when he was only 7 months old. At first she made it seem like everything was wonderful. But i didn't like that my son was left in a car seat all that and the last day i picked him up there was literally a sweat stain where his head was. At least once every two weeks i had to leave my job because Chachi would complain that my baby was crying "too much." The last day he was there she called me and told me she was not going to take care of him anymore and i had to go pick him up. It was monday morning and i already paid her, since she was breaking the contract i was suppose to get my refund but she said to take her to court. My son is in a new daycare and not once have i ever heard a complain about his crying. The day she kicked him out i came to get him and he was in his car seat with a bag of his belongings next to him waiting for me by the door. Maybe she was wonderful a few years ago but she has no patience and needs to retire or not take on so many kids knowing she can't handle it.

As a small business owner I am VERY sensitive to other businesses that I work with, ESPECIALLY childcare. I have two (2) children and was recommended to this daycare from a family member who used it years prior. The price was RIGHT, the owner is INVESTED in what she does. The number of kids, and age ranges, showed how much she cares. During my initial visit I saw quite a few commendations from the State of Connecticut. That was important to me. My two (2) kids LOVE the owner - Cha Chi. What I really appreciated was the communication between the daycare and my wife and I. Made us feel very comfortable. You MUST be comfortable with the provider and you MUST demand honesty from the provider - BOTH I have received. Check with the state of CT, the proof is there.

My son has been with Narcisa a little less than 6 months. The only problem I’ve had was the fact my son does not want to leave when it’s time to go home. He loves being in Narcisa’s care and as a mother that makes me feel like I found the best person that could care for my child. I would recommend Narcisa to anyone that is looking for a clean, safe and loving environment for their child. We need more Narcisa Alvarado’s in this world. May god continue to bless her to watch over our children.

ALL MOTHERS LOOKING FOR A GREAT PROVIDE PLEASE READ!. I have known Narcisa for over 4 years and she is hands down the best daycare provider I have ever had! I have 3 children ages 9, 4, and 2 and I met her in 2011 when I had my second child who she watched and care for until he went to preschool. Realizing that my son starting learning Spanish and was always so happy when I picked him up, i knew then, I had founded exactly what I needed. The most important thing i was looking for in a daycare was that the provider was very clean, fed my child regularly, and truly cared about their well-being. My 4yr is now in school but rather go the Narcisa's with his younger sister for the day. My 2yr old daughter loves going there so much all she talks about is "Chachi" Narcisa's house. I have recommended her to co-workers, friends, and family because I truly love Narcisa for what she does. It's difficult to find someone that cares and loves your child as much as you do. She's truly blessing to my family and makes our lives easier knowing our children are safe and happy in her care.

Where do I start?? My son is 5 years old now and to this day he still ask to go visit " Cha Chi" , nickname for his former daycare provider Narcisa Alvarado. The first day I walked in Narcisa's home to visit her daycare, I was totally blown by the cleanliness of the place and the loving atmosphere that the children were a part of. My son loved her and up to this day she has left an impact on his little heart. My son was in the care of Narcisa for about 2 years and the only reason for leaving was to enroll in pre-school. Narcisa treats her students like her own, and I believe she genuinely loves the kids as well as her career.I went to work each day with ease, knowing my son was well taken care of.I would recommend anyone to have Narcisa as a childcare provider. SHE IS AMAZING.......

I have been a client of Narcisa Alvarado for 5 plus years. I have never had problems. She is always very accommodating when it comes to schedules. She will try to work with you with regard to monetary issues. My children love to go to Narcisa's house.
