Description: Our mission is to provide children with the same type of love, nurturing and instruction that a caring parent would give. Almost Home is a place that looks, sounds, acts and feels like a home, and will always be there for your child. We do not discriminate in our enrollment and hiring practices or in the care of children because of race, color, creed, ethnicity, national origin, gender, marital status, veteran's status, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, religion, differing physical or mental abilities, or communication and learning styles. Consistency is a vital part of your child's day. We follow a daily schedule so that the children become familiar and comfortable with the routine of their day

If you are looking for a not so cheap babysitter - this is the place. If you are looking for somewhere for your child to grow and learn, you would be better off putting your money elsewhere. It seems as only the owner has taken interest in taking classes on child behavior and the rest of the employees are just babysitters. I do not feel like my children got any quality from the short time that they were there. If anything, it made them more irritable because they were receiving no attention and often times just left to their own. I was not impressed. Would not suggest this to anyone I know.
I was not impressed with this facility. There were often low staff levels. In the mornings when I would drop off, there would often be only 1-2 providers there with about 25-30 kids, which I believe is way over the ratio that the state has put out for a childcare center. It could use some updates. I was only impressed with about two or three of the employees, but even then the other providers were not impressive at all. My husband and I decided that this was not a place that was suitable for our daughter and not an environment that we would want her in. We thought we had found a piece of gold in a haystack, but we were proven wrong continually by the owner as well as the employees.
We love it here! My only negative first thought was that some things were a little run down, but like my husband pointed out, maybe they are spending their money on keeping quality employees rather than updating the facility- fine by me! This place is great! It took some time finding a place that I felt comfortable leaving my child. We have had a bad daycare experience, so I am so thankful these guys are so good with my child!
