Description: In Adventure Land Nursery School children will be exposed to a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, socialization, large muscles, group activities and general learning. Our school is an innovative solution that acts as virtual parents, broadening the children's skills during the day. This is not a babysitter facility. The children are engaged throughout the day, learning new skills and reinforcing already acquired ones.

I am director of this daycare. I would like to kindly respond to some negative reviews.
Review states:
- That child was seriously injured six times during period of two month, and teacher was not aware of the injures even after long conversation with parents. Adventure Land been in business for more than twelve years, we had, not a single complaint form the parents regarding child injuries. Children are children and do occasionally get hurt while playing and interacting with other kids. State regulation require us to keep log of all injuries which occur during school day. I’m personally in school every day to greet and to answer any questions or concerns parents might have; and yet in this case the issue did not come up till the day parents decided to terminate the contract and requested refund due to availability of other childcare.
- They speak Russian or something similar and they don't have strong teaching programs. We do have quite few children from Russian families, and teachers in the younger groups speak Russian to help these kids adjust. Its is also true I’m of Russian descent, but I hold degree in education from US college, and have almost 20 years of education experience. We use HighReach Learning Curriculum, children are exposed to a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, socialization, large muscles, group activities and general learning. This is not a babysitter facility. The children are engaged throughout the day, learning new skills and reinforcing already acquired ones. All the children graduating from our Kindergarten program fluently speak English, can read, write, and know basic math.
- not reporting what happened each day at school. Every week email is sent to all parents, detailing what was accomplished during a week. Again teachers and me personally greet and say goodbye to every parent and child, and always happy to provide information and answer any question parents might have.
My kid attended this day care for a short period of 2 months and in those two months he was seriously injured 6 times and most of the times the teachers were not even aware that he was injured. I had to take the kid out of school as I was concerned about the safety of my kid. Each time the child got hurt, we spoke with teacher at length however no precaution was taken to prevent or monitor next such incidents. Also, the director is very rude and does not have polite communication skills.
If you don't mind your child getting hurt and hit by other kids, I would certainly recommend this place.
I can't say enough wonderful things about Adventure Land Nursery School, Mrs. Marina and the teachers who work there. It's a hard thing to leave your 2 year old baby boy in the hands of others while you go back to work, but everyone at ALNS made our transition immensely easier. Every single person there treated my son like family and it was apparent in the way he interacted with them. They zeroed in on our son's needs and facilitated his development and helped him meet new milestones. Teachers in the todlers room are sweet, nurturing, loving and understanding women who are extremely good at what they do. Over time, I felt like they were friends watching my son. Leaving him to go to work became so much easier. It was comforting to know he was spending his days with them if he couldn't be with me! This place is wonderful! If you can get a spot at Adventure Land for your child, I promise that you won't regret it! It's truly a gem.
They speak Russian or something similar and they don't have strong teaching programs. Teachers and the manager are not native speakers and they speak Russians to each other and to kids as well. In general, they appears to have a poor teaching programs for 2-3yrs old. It is a great concern that they don't speak English at school and not reporting what happened each day at school. It is a poorly designed school with very high student to teacher ratio. Very expensive for what they do there.
please dont spend ur money or time or ur childs main years of his life in this school .... my child was a very brave and well behaved and smart boy its sometime now after i pulled him out of this school but still he still sometimes remembers the tough situations that he faced there! inexperienced teachers... very impartial ... bad language. and parents are not informed of what all happens in the school. many a times i found my child had bruises and cuts and was told all lies by the teachers only when i took him out of this school did he tell me the truth that he was being hit by another kid very badly and the teachers were giving him timeouts... as the boy used to hit him when nobody was around ... then he started complaining about a teacher... who used to ignore all this. please dont send ur child here 2 to 5 is the age where they learn the most of what they ll be..
If you want just spend money... Big groups, stupid teachers, not working restrooms, etc...
