Genesis Learning Academy is an establishment full of impatient and incompetent women. My three-year-old daughter came home and told me she was hit by her new teacher on her first day. When I shared the information with the daycare director Angelia, she claimed that she had video that she reviewed, and would share with me, but on the day of our meeting the footage magically disappeared. My daughter’s new “teacher” Ashley was impatient, unfit, and literally blames children for her irrational behavior. Ashley told me on her first day she almost quit because it was so overwhelming (IT’S A DAYCARE, YOU SIGNED UP TO DEAL WITH AND ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN!). When I had a meeting with the director, Angelia, and her new teacher, Ashley, they tried to label my three-year-old, and had the audacity to say that my child needed to see a doctor. I’m disgusted at their inability to be patient and nurturing to children. This daycare is a dump, filled with teachers that expect children to behave as adults. STAY FAR AWAY!!! Needless to say, my daughter now attends Sunbrook Learning academy, they have a structed classroom environment, a detailed curriculum, nutritional food choices, and a CERTIFIED trained staff. I am so happy I got my daughter away from an environment determined to ostracize and segregate my baby. Leaving was the best decision I made for my family!
Don't judge a book by its cover! It looks small from the outside, but when you walk in it's pretty big & clean. They offer free rides even if your not in the Kennesaw area now how many schools do that? Uh, none! My child adores all the staff and they all know her name which shows they take the time to get to know your child even if he/she isn't in their class. I know one day I was short on what I owed & the owner let me pay when I had it....they are for the children & that shows. I recommend Genesis Learning Academy of Kennesaw to all parents who are looking for the right school for their child: Daycare, nightcare and Pre-K...I won't take my kid anywhere else & definitely wouldn't recommend, but the best!
I love this school it is the best school in Kennesaw and was the first school in Kennesaw. It has history and I love being apart of history. All the staff are so friendly and the owner comes in and works right long side of the employees. They all care for each child and that shows when my son cries not wanting to come home. Thank you Genesis Learning Academy of Kennesaw for making a difference in my life and my child's life.
