This school is horrible. I was expecting Mrs Benavides to be professional since she was once a teacher herself. The staff have no clue what is going on they are pretty much off the streets employees with no care for kids. The school is not clean! I had my son enrolled there and he was treated horribly. He came home with smelling of urine. Bottom line dont waste your time. This so called learning center is the pits.
My son attends ABC Discovery, he has been there for over a year and we are very happy. My husband and I have noticed a tremendous improvement in my child's oral language development, fine motor skills, and social skills. They have excellent teachers and staff on board. My son is always talking about how he likes the food served. I've picked him up early on several occasions and have seen the meals provided. They are very nutritious and I like the fact that they have a cook, unlike other centers that get their food catered. I highly recommend the learning center, I've never had any problems with any of the staff or director. Everyone is very professional and the place is always clean. My son loves his school.
My 2 and 3 year old daughters went there for 7 days and I had to remove them due to poor hygiene towards my children. My 2 year old had a bad diaper rash on her first day and upon further assessment found feces in her front private part, my 3 year old needed help cleaning herself after going to the rest room and the owner Benavides voiced to us to give her permission so we did.Then one day,my 3 year old didn't eat or drink anything all day and we were notified until 5:30 pm .when I picked her up, upon assessment noted a bad rash to her front private part, we asked her teacher Martinez if she was helping her clean herself after she goes to the restroom and Martinez voiced she didn't know she had permission to help here, so this person Martinez watched my 3 year old clean herself very poorly and allowed her to put her under wears over her wet front and dirty back area, non wonder she would have her underwears dirty after daycare.We had complained several times about this but until she ended up with a Urinary tract infection. we ended ties with ABC discovery learning center on McPherson road, they never said they were sorry and the owner Benavides never answered why she didn't tell Martinez to help my 3 year old daughter clean herself.Then they lost a Matt that was brand new and gave me a different color opened Matt from someone else .They stayed with all their baby wipes for both,Clorox wipes boxes for both and Lysol spray were not returned, they voiced it all finished, yeah right with 7 days of use, I would not recommend this abc discover learning center for anyone.
My child attends ABC Discovery and I am very happy with the staff and the enviroment. My child has learned alot with the teachers. I am very satisfied with the school and the director. My child and I are very satisfied with the teachers and the school. It is very organized and very clean.
