I love this daycare for my kids. the teachers (that do last) are amazing. The only issue I had was with the Director (Cindy). As a parent I was being shrugged off when it came to my concerns with my children and them being moved up in a timely manner. When I did ask questions I would get responses like “I have my reasons“. Then after addressing the issue with the director and her refusing to communicate I pulled my kids from the center. I admitted to the director that I made a report to licensing about the reoccurrence of the issues. In an attempt to retaliate I later found out that she had written a false letter to childcare services stating that I threatened her. I‘ve heard the horror stories from staff members having similar things happen to them when they try to communicate issues to the director. As a professional a director should have good COMMUNICATION SKILLS. It is very clear that the director lacks these skills and that explains why there is almost always shortage of staff. One of the employees did mention that the director would soon be retiring and that another(more suitable) employee would become the director. I do hope the rumors are true and that a new director will be taking over soon. Due to this being a family ran business I do hope that the new director will be able to run the facility more effectively for ALL the children, and not just certain ones.
