About the Provider
Twin Oaks Montessori, one of the finest Montessori schools in early childhood education in Austin, Texas since 1983. Our school is founded in the principles and philosophies of Dr. Maria Montessori. WE believe that each child is a born learner. At Twin Oaks Montessori the children are guided through the traditional Montessori Method and its values. The children are also exposed to a modern approach to the traditional Montessori method to enable and enhance the 21st Century child's learning capabilities and abilities. Twin Oaks Montessori is dedicated to educate and foster the child as a whole person emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually in a multi-cultural environment. This shall ultimately lead the learning experience at Twin Oaks Montessori as an aid to life. This is done in a prepared and nurturing environment, which includes a trained teacher who is called a 'guide'. The guide will observe each child and guide each child with the help of one or two assistants. Included activities are Practical Life, Sensorial, Math, Language, Botany, Geography, Science, Art, Music, Spanish, and much more.
