I have had 3 of my children enrolled here since Sept. 2014 and it has been a positive experience. My 5-year old is in Preschool and Ms. Gina is great! My twins are in PreK in separate classes with Ms. Amanda and Ms. Deena and both are wonderful with the boys. My kids like their teachers and have made friends while there. The staff does their best to accommodate changes. There has been some turnover but they worked quickly to correct problematic teachers, and those teachers are no longer there.
This school is one of the most affordable daycares in Pearland.
Ms. Kara (in the office) went the extra mile one day when we got a flat tire. She called us a tow truck and sent a School Zone bus to pick up the kids at our house, which was extremely helpful.
If you are looking for a safe, loving environment for your kids, and one that is affordable, this school is a good fit.
My three year old attended School Zone for five months. I would suggest that as a parent you would seek other options before considering this establishment. The cheap price may be very temping, however; you will not get what you pay for. I ultimately decided to remove my child from School Zone once I realized that the staff was not meeting my expectations and did not seem interested in trying to even meet childcare standard. Before the age of two, yes two, my child has been potty trained. Having extra clothes, School Zone decided to place a pull up on my child because she wet her underwear. My child does not have a habit of accidents. Another example of unmet expectations occurred when the school made a decision to take my child's class outside in wet 50 degree weather. Playing was not my issue, my child sitting in wet shoes, socks and pants were my issue. Due to an extremely high turnover of teacher and inconsistency in the classroom you can often find a great number of the students on red (bad behavior) daily. Ultimately as a parent you want to do whats best for your child. When my child came home and told me that "her school makes her sad" I withdrew her within 5 days. The issues listed, plus more, were addressed with the Director and her assistants. Great responses were given but not action was followed. If you are a parent that just wants a babysitter School Zone is the place for you, however; if you want your child to mature and grow mentally, cognitively and physically PLEASE go somewhere else.
Wonderful school! The staff are very welcoming and friendly, my son is in the Pre-K program and loves it.. and he is learning so much. I would recommend it to anyone.
