Description:
Understanding that the future lies within the hearts and minds of the young, the Pearland Young Dragons is the ultimate after school program for youth between the ages of 5-16. With the Young Dragons, you get the convenience of daycare with the benefits of Martial Arts. A state licensed child care facility, the Young Dragons was developed out of a core understanding that traditional daycare is not only costly and often inadaequate as it relates to child development, but more importantly that every child (and parent) deserves more. Every parent deserves more than a mere "drop off" spot for their kids to be watched for 1, 2 or 3 plus hours. Every parent deserves to know that during that timeframe, their child is not only being properly supervised, but they're also getting critical things every child needs for proper development and growth.
Initial License Date: 5/16/2006.
We also offer a summer camp program. During summer camp, we swim two days a week, go to the Pearwood Skating Rink, and go to the movies. We offer daily field trips to the park to eat lunch. Our summer camp hours are 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Don't let them take your kids to school ! First, my son went there for a week and I specifically told the lady not to charge my card until I come in and let her know to. Well they charged me for 2 weeks, and I ended up finding a private transportation that can pick up both of my kids for cheaper! I called and she was nice and said they'd refund me the $$. I called them back and they kept giving me the run-around. I went there and they'd to nerve to tell me that when you sign them up, it's for the whole school year. I didn't see that in the application or papers that I signed. The owner was non chalant about them taking my $$ without me authorizing it and without them providing any services to me. Thieves! Secondly, the vans are raggedy and they don't have A/C! If I'm paying $100 a week I don't want my child in a raggedy car without air conditioner, especially with this Houston heat! This place is a joke and thieves ! Warning don't go here
Started out good at the beginning of the school year with after school childcare, the staff was fantastic so I overlooked certain issues (the junkyard of old busses in the parking lot, poor outside play area) But martial arts instruction ceased, teacher and supervisor turnover increased drastically. Zero communication. Lacking in adequate leadership among other quality issues.
