I have used this provider for less than 6 months

One of the teachers in the toddler room grabbed my child by the arm so forcefully she left bruises and deep scratches from her long fingernails. My wife witnessed her pull another toddler up in the air under one arm and drag him to time out. After reporting this to the director and the owners the teacher is still working there. The explanation given was that “all parents scratch their children at some point” and that since the teacher had taken care of their children and now grandchildren they trusted her abilities and temperament. After searching reviews of their other location, it seems they have had this issue before, but in the owners words, “We can’t please everyone”. Oh, and you should read this review quickly. They tend to delete the unfavorable ones.

I have used this provider for less than 6 months

After witnessing a teacher pick up kids in the toddler room by their arm only and drug through the air to time out and my own child coming home with long fingernail scratches and bruises under his arm, the teacher is still allowed to work there. I was told she would be taken out of the toddler class and the owners were "looking into it". I was told that neither teacher in the room "remembered doing it" to either child. When I gave a specific date and time that could be viewed through their surveillance I was told that it is only for real time monitoring and they could not go back even minutes to check anything. I also provided photos of the abuse to my child's arm. When asked why they would let her continue to work there, I was told that they are investigating but she has taken care of the owners children and grandchildren so she is a trusted employee. Also told that all parents have mistakenly scratched their children before. The workers are allowed to keep long, sharp, acrylic fingernails when working with the toddlers. I pulled my children immediately but waited a week for owners to contact me after leaving my contact info, messages, and emails to discuss the teachers inappropriate behavior. I was also told that they have learned that after 20 years of having their daycare that "they can't please everyone" after I explained I was still pursuing the situation so this wouldn't happen to other children and that this wasn't a complaint about curriculum but of actual physical harm to children. They said they were taking it seriously but could offer not action other than that they were "watching" her.
