Luv N Care Child Development Center

This child care center is attempting to charge us (parents) a full week of tution for last week when the center was CLOSED due to the weather. Even though they sent an email saying refer to the parent handbook about the charge, it doesn't state anywhere in the handbook about paying when the center is closed other than for holidays. (Yes we have pay the full week even when they open for 3 days). Ms. Stephanie told me "well I am saying it". They are telling us that we have to pay because they need to pay the teachers and there was damage to the building (gym). It seems to me that is a insurance claim rather than charging the parents.

As a child who attended this daycare in the 90s, i was willing to forgive the misfortune and mistreatment i received and hoped for better for my child. I was met with constant complaints of how my child was “too much” and demands to pick him up as a result of the staff not willing or capable to deal with a “difficult “ 3 year old. As a parent I even changed careers to be able to become more available to the amount of times my infant was asked to be picked up (kicked out of daycare for the day) keep in mind I am a nurse in the middle of the covid-19 pandemic. This daycare had no concerns for the well being of my child before, during, or after this crisis occurred. As a child of this daycare and a parent of child who attended this daycare I absolutely do NOT recommend this money hungry business for your child.

**Update: I was recently informed that his teacher Elizabeth was specifically targeting my son, isolating him and putting her finger in his face/chest and calling him a bad kid. Who does that to a 3 year old?! MS ELIZABETH SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED AROUND CHILDREN.
