My two children went to this daycare for 3+ years - I just pulled them out. Kidz Come 1st used to be great, but in the last year, something changed. Their turnover rate is high, they keep too many kids per teacher (if you can call them that), they've slacked on changing my son's diaper in a timely manner, they scream and manhandle the kids, they are very rude to the parents...I could go on. The last straw for me was when I walked in and found my 3 year old in a diaper and shirt with no pants, and the diaper was so full it was sagging to the floor. Apparently the reason he was in only a diaper was because he wet his clothes through his diaper before nap time, which is what happens when a kid is not changed timely. On top of that, the same day, my 4 year old explained how he had also wet himself during nap time and, instead of calling one of his parents for a change of clothes, the "teacher" put him in a diaper and then put his clothes out in the sun to dry. He was wearing the dry clothes when I picked him up. The "teacher" then informed me that my 4 yr old TOLD her not to call his parents because he didn't want to get in trouble. So she didn't, and instead, put him back in dirty clothes. I was disgusted. My 4 year old son has also started to tell me that the teachers are so mean to them, screaming all the time. The kids no longer do anything creative. When you walk in they're just watching cartoons. My sons have also started coming home with bruises that don't look to have come from another kid. I'm talking bruises from fingers wrapped around their forearms. I absolutely do NOT recommend this day care. And the "manager", Rachel? She could care less about any of your complaints - all she wants is your money. The day we decided to pull my kids from the day care, we let them know that morning - it was also their end of summer party and kiddy pools were involved. Well, when I picked up my kids, my 3 yr. old was still in his soaking wet clothes. He was dripping wet inside an air-conditioned building, shivering! Pretty vindictive people if you ask me, treating an innocent 3 year old that way. Needless to say, I will also be reporting them to the State of Texas. You get what you pay for.
I cannot even rate this. My 2 year old grand daughter went there and they said another child pushed her and she fell on a toy. They did call but they did nothing else than want to keep her in a highchair all day. Come to find out she has a fractured tibia! Really from falling on a toy!! HORRIBLE PLACE!!! Do not send your child here.
