Kids Green Acre School

I fell in love with this school after touring it a few weeks ago. I specifically asked what their policy on vaccinations was and she told me I would have to provide proper documentation for vaccines. In our case a vaccine waiver is the proper documentation which I was told would not be accepted. She went on to say "only vaccines children are welcome" "this is a vaccine only school". I asked if the school received any state funding and they said they did but would not accept my child or his vaccine waiver. The woman went on to say they didn't have to accept our waiver because it was their right and policy.

Texas has 3 vaccine exemptions forms which MUST be accepted at any school or daycare that accepts state funding. I said this and sited the law to the woman both over the phone and online but was still discriminated against and treated very rudely.

I wrote my original review on their facebook page 2 weeks ago. Since then I have received comments on my review and private message. The public comments have been rude and extremely ignorant not just by the parents but the staff. I received 2 threatening emails stating that "it wouldn't be hard to find out where I live" and a separate message saying "your child is the reason why other children are dying and why children at this daycare have whooping cough". I would like to state the obvious and say that my child never attended this school and had nothing to do with children at this facility contracting whooping cough.

I have filed a police report and several grievances with the state.
