Description: Horizon Heights Elementary was built and founded in 1983 in Horizon City, just east of El Paso, Texas. This year we will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary! When it was built, it was a self-contained Kinder through 8th Grade with a student population of 400.
Horizon Heights is now a Kinder through 5th Grade School that serves over 1,000 students. Horizon Heights is a year round school in the Socorro Independent School District. The Principal is James Vasquez. Frances Gonzalez and Jenifer Hansen are the Assistant Principals.
