About the Provider
The City of San Antonio has served as the Head Start grantee for the San Antonio and Bexar County area for over 30 years. Over this time our direct service providers have changed but the fundamental mission of the program has remained the same, to ensure that all children in the San Antonio and Bexar County community have equal opportunities for future success in school and life. Five contract educational service providers operate 89 center locations throughout the City of San Antonio and Bexar County. The City of San Antonio contracts with three additional support service providers to deliver medical, dental and mental wellness services to children and families.
