Home daycare has openings available for your child! Licensed, CPR certified, state certified, degreed teacher, experienced mother and nurturing grandmother. We provide educational activities and creative ways for your child to express themselves. Childhood is an important time and we encourage growth and help prepare your child for kindergarten. We would love to have your child join us. Open M-F from 7:30 a.m.-6:00p.m. CST. The daycare is located in Plano at the intersection of Legacy and Coit.
These negative reviews break my heart because they are portraying Ms. Sudha incorrectly. My son went to Ms. Sudha for 3 years (starting at 8 weeks old) and my daughter went for 1 1/2 years (starting at 11 weeks old). During our time there, she played a mother figure to me since we didn't have family in the area. She was unbelievable; cooked fresh meals every day, celebrated every religious holiday, taught the kids numbers, letters, colors, etc. as well as how to hold a pencil and write their name from a very early age. She taught them to try new foods and learn about different cultures. She is the only person, still to this day, that has been successful in getting my son to eat a variety of foods.
Ms. Sudha is more than just an in-home daycare; she is a preschool and daycare combined. The kids at her daycare become an extension of her family as well. She attended many birthday parties and babysat after hours as well. She is an absolute wonderful, welcoming lady and very loving mother to two fantastic daughters. Although we moved to a new city, my son still talks about Ms. Sudha and absolutely loved his time with her. I am so grateful that my kids received such loving care from her. She is a forever friend and I would highly recommend her.
Our son has been going to Miss Sudha , since he was 18 month old(now 4.5yrs old) and still continuing in her day care. I was referred to Miss Sudha by my colleague , i can’t thank her enough for referring us to Miss Sudha. Our son is very happy to go to daycare every day. Unlike other day care where they only take care of the kids without much emphasis on the learning, at Miss Sudha our son has learnt variety of things (communication, writing, reading). He is learnt to be independent in terms of his own needs at a very early age. She gives lot of attention to each and every kid based on their personality. She plans for celebrations/activities for kids through the year on the important days (like mother’s day, father’s day, christmas, easter egg hunt, Indian festivals, to mention a few). Kids are exposed to both American as well as indian occasions. Miss Sudha takes extra care to make fresh food for the kids which kids love to eat.
Miss Sudha is a very caring and thoughtful person. My son was not a very good eater, but Miss Sudha went extra step to make sure that he ate well and tried different ways to convince him to eat.
We have a peace of mind, when we leave our son in her care because we know our son is safe and well taken care of in a homely environment. We would definitely recommend this center to any parent.
Ms. Sudha took care of my son 12 years ago for 3 years. At that time, she only accepted 6-8 kids. Until now, she has been a great memory for my son and myself, whom he credits for teaching him colors, numbers, letters. It was such a wonderful relief knowing he was in "grandma's hands". Beyond the love and care, she and her oldest daughter took a one on one approach with him as he struggled with speech. It was bittersweet when it was time for to move him to a Montessori school. We have randomly visited twice within this whole time and I can assert. The children seem happy entering that door and taking off their shoes and heading to their circle of fun environment. And the parents have a relaxed look on their face.
What a terrible mistake to send our kid to this daycare. Many a times our 2 year old returned home with scratches on his legs, hands and sometimes on his neck. Initially we did not pay much attention, as we were casually told that our son himself was doing that to himself while playing. But soon he had a big scratch on his face very close to his eye and this time the excuse was that it was an accident caused by Ms. Sudha when she was attempting to stop a kid fight for a toy. It was blamed on our son that he was snatching stuff from other kids and that he was uncontrollable...2 year old boy is uncontrollable for 2 adult 'professional' teachers...Unbelievable!
And this wasn't the end. Within a couple of months after this incident, another big deep scratch on his cheek -
As usual it was blamed on our son and another 3/4 year old kid. It seems like it's always the kids at fault and teachers aren't to be blamed for anything that happens at the daycare. Needless to say, we pulled him out of this daycare and enrolled him to a Montessori. Now that we see the quality of childcare at this facility, we feel very sorry for making our son go through all that he did in those 7 months. Hope this never happens again to any other precious little ones.
Highly dissapointed and dissatisfied with their service and it puts me into tears when I see scratch marks on my 2yr old son's face. There were really big scratches near his eyes, cheeks, neck, hands. How can they be so careless and irresponsible? why do we pay them for? I trusted these caregivers because one of them was Licensed (Miss Sudha) and they both broke my trust. I have friends and family looking at these marks and questioning me how could even keep quiet, it was serious. I would never recommend this daycare to anyone ever.
My child's experience at this daycare has been very rewarding. When he comes home, he is always happy. My child has made many friends in the daycare and now has the abilities to communicate with and learn from others. I feel that I gave my child an opportunity which can not be measured by any other. Miss Sudha is very well organized and conducts the services provided to the parents/children in a very highly appropriate manner. Her hard work and dedication shows in all of the fun parties for the children as well as the attention given to each child. She knows that each child has a different personality and caters to their needs. The experience which the owner has is very commendable. Miss Sudha's dedication and kindness towards the parents and children is something which is not found elsewhere. The vast knowledge that the children acquire after participating in the program at this daycare is very impressive. The communication skills, written abilities and reading/comprehension for the children are bar none. There is a very good balance between the academic structure as well as the activities provided in this daycare center. Since this is a in-home facility, it brings the homely feel to the children, which makes them more comfortable. I would recommend this center to any parent who wants to see their children be very happy and succeed.
I have worked at Ms. Sudha's daycare for over a year now and I have seen first hand how the child care operates. Neither I nor Ms. Sudha have deviated from the menu, which contains fresh fruit, vegetables and dairy. The only time the children eat frozen food is on Fridays when they eat frozen pizza. All of the children love Ms. Sudha and I have heard several parents say that their children really enjoy coming to day care. Ms. Sudha seems to have a special touch with her students- they love her and she loves them. Ms. Sudha has a lot of fun activities for the children that they really look forward to. She makes sure that they get to have birthday parties and lesson-themed parties. It was a lot of work for us, but we managed it pretty well since both the parents and the children enjoyed it! There is also a holiday party at the end of the year in which the children get to display what they have learned throughout the year. It has always been a success and a lot of fun not only for the parents and children but for the assistants as well! Also, many parents have praised Ms. Sudha because their children have excelled in schools that they attended after they graduated from Ms. Sudha's school. I know that if I have a child, I would definitely bring him or her to Ms. Sudha's over any other school.
Miss Sudha is a nice lady. However she is finding it hard to run this day care. Assistants have a very high churn rate. Sudha and her assitant manage 12 kids, cook, clean, run the operations. Just like we all do miss sudha is getting old and we felt she was unable to keep up with the pace. Because of that she puts a lot of unwanted pressure on the kids and displine them, which means this place runs like a millitary camp. Frozen food is on the menu. If you are comparing this to a near by school/montesorri then there is simply no comparison. She is a good lady that is unable to run this operation. There is no open door policy as well, so you will never know what your child is getting. I would not consider enrolling my child here.
