Description: We realize the burden many working parents face when trying to find afternoon child care between school and when they get off work. Benton First is proud to be able to offer a program to meet this need for our community through our after school program. Our program is from 3:00 - 5:30 pm for students K - 5th grade and is housed right here on our church property. Our KIT program is a State Certified Program, meaning we meet the criteria of the State to offer the best quality programming we can. We are also STAR Certified that simply means we go above and beyond the State requirements to provide the absolute best care we can. Keeping each child safe is our first priority! We provide a healthy snack each day as well as personalized homework instruction. Each day we offer recreation & enrichment activities to help with their imagination as well as physical activity. We do all of this for just $5.50 per day. The staff and substitutes are required to take training hours every year to help in the learning process of the children we care for on a daily basis. The staff and substitutes are also required to do back ground checks. This also helps ensure the safety of the kids as well.
