The Learning adventure seemed very nice when I took a tour....but after a week of taking my 4 year old daughter there, she had bruises and bite marks all over her arms. When I brought this to their attention, they said kids will be kids and did nothing about it! Definitely would not recommend this daycare

I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience. Unfortunately biting is a very common problem in toddlers however we do take it very seriously. We record every bite incident and keep track of the incidents to determine if/when a child needs to removed from the center if they are a ‘habitual’ biter. However this usually doesn’t happen as quickly as a week. We work closely with the child who bites and the parents to come up with solutions to keep them from biting. We are sensitive to the child who is bit as well as the biter as they have no other means to communicate. If a staff member only told you ‘kids will be kids’ I apologize. I assure you we take it seriously.
