Avery House Nature Center

We loved Avery Nature School so much while our oldest was there! We had to move out of area and the new daycares we enrolled our kids in do not compare! The fun activities, nature immersion and exploration, open-ended crafting were so great for our preschooler! We loved and miss the great teachers so much! We're so thankful we had the experience there! If only all daycares could be so play-filled, great for growing young minds, and magical!!

We love Avery Nature Preschool. We started our 4yo there last summer because we needed care with longer hours and fewer closures than the university-run daycare. The opportunity for our child to be outside a lot more in nature and have more freedom to play according to their own drive, and learn through age-appropriate spontaneous activities, has been a wonderful game-changer for us. We love the staff and home-grown, "organic" feel of the classroom environment. Our kid's energy level, imagination, confidence, and emotional regulation have all benefited from moving them to Avery, which we've been very thankful for.
