Facilities
Our classroom is decorated with artwork and filled with toys and learning materials. There is lots of room for hand-on exploration and our space extends outdoors into a newly renovated playground that offers space to climb, run, ride tricycles and scooters and explore nature.
Parental Involvement
Parents are encouraged to be involved in their child’s education. You can volunteer in the classroom, share special talents, participate in field trips, help with special events and attend parent-teacher conferences. We review our program yearly based on parental feedback.
Safe & Secure
Conveniently located within the United Church of Christ, Southbury, both the church building and self-contained classroom (including two child-sized bathrooms) are locked and secure during class time. The playground is located right outside the classroom's back door and fenced in.

Connect, Seek Advice, Share Knowledge
Our child has PTSD from her experience here. Horrible teachers, a director that possesses not an ounce of decency or warmth (Hey, Kelly!), and an EXclusive environment. I don’t want other children experiencing the anxiety that ours did. We tried talking to Miss Kelly about the issues and were dismissed. We switched schools (best decusion ever) and it was rough convincing our child that not all schools would be like the Preschool Center. Shout out to Preschool on the Green though-you’re amazing and we can’t thank you enough! Now in first grade, our daughter still talks about how Miss Riley is mean and how Miss Jessica yelled at the kids over the smallest things. She saw Miss Jessica out in public and tried running to the car..couldn’t stand to be in her presence. Clearly stuff happens here…behavior that should make you run, not walk.
