I have used this provider for more than 6 months

My kid would come home with mystery bruises almost every day. no mention of it from Amy. We had to bring our own playpen because she didn't have any. She had accidents and Amy yelled at us like ti was our fault. She often had 7-10 kids there at a time wich is against IA law as unregistered daycare. She closed alot last minute wich was hard to plan for. we had to leave.

I have used this provider for more than 6 months

We were with Amy for over 2.5 years, and while our child was well cared for in many ways, our overall experience ended on a disappointing and confusing note.

In the beginning, Amy was warm and nurturing, and we appreciated the homey environment she created. But over time, there were ongoing contract changes, surprise closures, and a lack of support with potty training (made my child come in diapers for a week until no accidents which was confusing as he was learning).

Things took a turn when we were suddenly told there was no room for our child in the fall—despite previous discussions. We were then blocked/removed on social media, only to see her posting open availability soon after. The shift from kind and communicative to cold and unprofessional was really hurtful, especially after 2.5 years of trusting her with our child.

We’re grateful for the care she provided early on, but ultimately, the way things ended left us with a lot of questions and a sense of betrayal. Just something for other families to be aware of if you're considering long-term care.

Unfortunately, we had to end services due to serious concern of child safety. We have not been with this daycare for a couple of years now. My young children still remember that they were not treated well by the owner or her own children. The owner is unwilling to work with potty training, unable to proactively handle stressful situations , would belittle my children to their faces (telling them they are the only naughty kids), and seclude them. It is heart breaking to hear what they recall happening over the last couple of years. It is terrible to know I had left my children with someone who should protect them and did the complete opposite.
