Robertson, Tina CHILD CARE HOME

I am a new parent who had called about a possible position for my daughter on 12/1/23 @ 7:25am and spoke to Ms. Robertson for 5 minutes. She had told me she needed to get off the phone to answer to a parent who was physically in her presence at that time and if I could call back at my lunch.
When I initially had made contact with Ms. Robertson she seemed super sweet over the phone, made comments about how I seemed diverse and she wanted to meet me before selecting between two parents. Asked me if I was free the morning of 12/4/23 and could I come at 7am when she said she opened to meet.
I told her this was perfect as I’m moving from Edmond so that’s early enough to meet and get my kids to school on time.

Fast forward, 12/4/23
I was reminded by my phone @6am that @7am I have a tour at this daycare. So to be extra sure about this, I attempted to call Ms. Robertson 3 times beginning at 6:34am to make sure this was right in my calendar. I will admit I hadn’t called her back on Friday the 1st because I had forgot but because it was already in my calendar, I assumed it was a go.

Anyway, I finally get ahold of Ms. Robertson at 7:04am on 12/4/23 to ask her if she remembered me calling and if I could still come to this appointment that’s saved in my calendar.
She got very short and started to tell me that she never said that, she wouldn’t mix new parents and old parents up (what?) like that, she never told me I could tour today.
I then, semi, cut her off and told her, without any disrespect or confusion, I have it in my calendar and notes that I have a tour @7am today and I called to make sure that was still okay or what I needed to do to set one up since I hadn’t called back Friday.
She then cut me off, told me that we’re done here and she’s cutting this short. And hung up on me.
I have no idea where we went wrong or what kind of issue arose but I don’t think she was very professional in the end or very polite. The fact she acts discombobulated about an appointment I didn’t just make up and save in my phone is what got my attention. She remembered talking to me but swears she never set this appointment.

She even gave me the option to tour on a Saturday if it were easier for me. Like what?

1 star. Am not impressed. I had high hopes since my daughter is in a private daycare already and would love to keep her in one. But this was crazy to me.

Tina has the best daycare around! She has several years of experience and treats our child like family! If you want someone reliable, loving, and trust worthy then she is for you! Just know she is highly sought after and probably has a waiting list.
