at 1:30pm July 16th I encountered a van from Rise and Shine Early Learning Center in Minneapolis. I had to slam on the brakes as i was turning onto interstae 94 eastbound from Broadway ave in North Minneapolis because the van cut me off even though it had a red light . Then as chance would have it we were headed in the same direction. I watched as the driver crossed the double white line to get onto 35W southbound and cut off another vehicle in the process. this would be the second, (and not last) time the driver almost caused a collision on a busy highway. on 35W I witnessed the driver texting, and swerving in and out of his lane spending extended periods of time in two lanes at once. The entire time with a van full of children. Other issues were tailgating, and cutting off other vehicles. the liscense plate number was 129 JNR. The driving was eradict, and performed many moving violations. Evidently when you let Rise and Shine Learning Center transport your child you are gambling with their life. I am trying to find an email so I can inform the learning center directly of this incident.
