Lori the own is completely incompetent and is only in it for the money. Lori wants every classroom to be completely full even if there isn’t any full time teachers assigned to that room. She is trying to make every dollar she can and only pay the teachers the bare minimum. Only work here if you want to have a 30 to 1 ratio and not have any support from administrators.
My child was used to a daycare setting as she attended another daycare since she was a baby. We moved to Sonshine because it was closer to her preschool program which was at Aboite Elementary. The Aboite program is a special program for kids with a learning disability of some kind. My daughter has a speech delay. She is almost 4 years old and she is a healthy friendly happy kid. They have a reporting system that gives parents real time updates which is great on good days but I was getting constant messages of my child’s “bad” behavior. Some messages were one after another. For an example 5 messages with in 30 minutes only 45 minutes of me dropping her off. The complaints were as simple as she was not standing perfectly in line for the bathroom or she would not lie down for a nap. Others were based on her not following the group setting which most toddlers can struggle with. I also informed this daycare when we came on board of these things we are working on. This daycare kicked us out after 7 months with no warning or time given to perhaps try and troubleshoot the issues. They stated they did not have the staff to take care of our child and referred us to check out an ABA care center. My child was never diagnosed with autism! If your child is not a prefect behaved child I would not bother looking at this day care. I am now with out care and all other daycares have at least a 1 year waiting period. Especially if your child has any type of learning disability or delay. They needed to make their job easier by kicking my child out for some one easier. Beware of this place unless you want to be stuck with no care at all. I called crying and begging them to give us a second chance. The Aboite Elementary team offered to go there and advise what works for them as she is doing great there. They refused to work with us or try.
I did not think it took a bunch of morons to run a daycare, but four morons have free reign of this place.
Don't even bother wasting time applying to this dumpster fire of a business. You will make more money and have a greater sense of purpose anywhere else
The administrative staff will lie right to your face and make pretty promises that they never keep. The owner is incompetent and should not even have a business. This is not a "ministry"; it is a money grab for her.
