Horrible place. Told me I was not serious about employment. That was a red flag. Glad they thought that, after reading worker reviews, I dodged a bullet here. Covid is a hoax? Crazy ppl think that. Working teachers to death. No breaks. Wow. This place is all messed up. Then retaliation when you quit. Horrible.
Kirkwood is not safe for children! The teachers work 10 hour days with one 30 min break, which the director believes is not required by law. There is no janitorial staff during a pandemic! Teachers are responsible for cleaning and educating all day long with no relief. Because of high turnover they developed a contract that entraps teachers with an $800 buyout for less than 30 days notice. And money is usually deducted from checks as soon as notice is given. (As retaliation for leaving) MASKS ARE NOT PROVIDED TO STAFF. The owner of both locations believes covid19 is a hoax.
Disease factory! Teachers work 10 hour days with 1 inconsistent break and are too exhausted to teach or clean properly. Children do not begin educational goals until age 3 because of understaffing. Since kirkwood opened the only staff who havent quit are some nurses and management. The turnover speaks volumes! The owner of both locations believes covid is hoax. DO NOT GO HERE! They are great at selling a dream that they have no intention of putting in the resources to actually achieve.
