As a teacher who worked here for over 3 years I have a lot to say. First it starts with Nashwa herself, she is unfit to be a daycare director as she sits on her phone in the office while her classrooms are a disater. I had children who would destroy my room and I was told it was my fault, she always told us "if you need anything just ask" that was a complete lie. I would ask for help, ask her to take the child from the room for the other children's safety, and the child would come back in 2-3 minutes and act the same, putting myself as a teacher in harm's way as well as the other 17 children in my care.
Another major concern is ratios. I was a GSRP teacher who stayed after most days, and I would be given all three GSRP classes until the children went home. I usually only had the help of one high schooler with me. This is another issue: she hires mostly teens. With school-age classes led by teens, you see the children fighting and arguing with each other, as well as children thinking the teacher has no authority over them. Now imagine taking 18-20 school-age students to go on weekly field trips, how safe is a decision to send teenagers to watch over them and be fully aware? (They go swimming, to parks, the rec center and more)
The last thing I would like to touch on is how she makes her teachers be 1099 employee's with the "option" to have a W2. Starting my job here I was in high school myself and had no idea that each year I would be paying out $1,700-$2,300 on my taxes. Not to mention I got 3 1099's for one year of consistant work, and one of them was flagged by the IRS, something fishy is taking place here.
If you care about your child and their well-being, do your own research, look at the reviews. The negative ones aren't wrong and don't lie like the director lies to parents' faces about accidents, incidents, and injuries. As a teacher at a different school now, I can see all the underlying issues of this center.

I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

This is one of the most cleanest and safe Day Care Centers I have ever seen. Family owned and operated. Field trips with their own busses. Great teacher to student ratios. So much better than the big chains. Highly recomend.

I am an employee

I will continue to tell my story of this horrible daycare that should be shut down the Licensing Department of Michigan is failing these kids by continuing to let this daycare stay open poor management Nashwa stays on her phone while her center is complete chaos she hides behind her staff like Katie and Sarah to do her job the children are not eating healthy meals they eat chicken and soup on a daily basis
Staff kissing babies
Constantly kids fighting because there was no activities this summer all they did was watch tv and sit all day just horrible!! No Learning at all the Arabic staff can't speak much English so how they suppose to teach your kids the cook can't understand or speak English they lie to the parents all the time about there children a little girl got burned by a glue gun they lied
Another little girl got punched in the face by another child they lied
A kid with no legs almost drowning in the pool this summer guess who saved the child? One of the other students because the staff was not paying attention!! To the children
A little girl got left in the classroom by herself while the young 16teen year old and a 19teen year old left her in the building ! Because they didn't do a count of the children Nashwa died not take any responsibility on anything that goes on in her center! They never changed a handicap kid they refused to do so please do your research before u send your child to Dreamy Children Center the bathrooms were cleaned etc........
