I have toured this provider's facility, but have not used its services

We were planning on utilizing this daycare for our new son and were excited about it. I emailed with Joy the end of February, explaining that I was pregnant, when I was due and when we were needing daycare to start, asking if she would have any availability. She responded and said yes, and we met with her and again explicitly stated how old the baby would be when he started. After the tour, we asked if there was any paperwork we needed to complete, she stated no, but to reach out 2 weeks before we needed to start. I did so, and on the phone she stated that this was fine and we arranged another meeting prior to him starting; I again explicitly explained how old he was. 6 hours later I received an email from her stating that she did not feel comfortable taking someone his age and could no longer accommodate us for daycare…..2 WEEKS before we were supposed to start. She was absolutely unprofessional and this is inexcusable. I would not recommend this daycare AT ALL because I’m sure she’d do this again.

Owner response : I am so sorry you feel that way about me and my child care …I apologize for the miscalculation on my part .. I thought your baby will be 4 months old by then .Until I realized late that he will be 2 months old . I apologize once again .
