Best Buddies at Oakland

It’s a shame that you pay so much money and when you go to pick up your kids from this play diapers haven’t be changed and come home with raw booties. Went and pick up my kid and heard her crying a girl was sitting there making crying noises at my 2 year while sitting on your phone laughing at her because she was crying and has been crying for SEVERAL HOURS!!!!! Highly don’t recommend this place it’s a joke and kids are not safe here. Have had many encounters like this before and the head of the place does nothing about these situations. Keep yours kids always from here it’s a scam of money and your kids will not get treated the proper way!!!! THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!

Parents do not let the location and price fool you. This facility has had an obscene number of complaints from other mamas and has been reported to the state so many times. Do not send your children here.

I would never leave my child with anyone at this facility!

Best Buddies has taken care of all 3 of my children. They offer the best care with the most experienced teachers! The facility is gorgeous and very clean. I love the spacious rooms and outdoor porches they have for the rainy days. The directors and owners seem to really care about the center and children. They seem to put the children's needs first. Over the years of being apart of best buddies the facility has really grown.

This facility use to be one of the best daycares in our area! However, Over the last 2 1/2 months this daycare has rapidly became a nightmare daycare to leave your children at. The staff is constantly turning because the good teachers are leaving and aren’t being paid well. Then the other teachers that are left aren’t getting the support they need to properly care for the children in the classroom. Often kids are put in a classroom that they don’t belong in because there isn’t enough staff members to cover all the rooms. Other times there would be 1 staff member attending to more children than what state requirements allow. My child has gone to daycare multiple times over the last 2 1/2 months where she would spend 10 hours there during the day and only be fed once! They have no explanation on why it happened besides saying “it was a crazy day”. When you take your concerns to the director or the owners they never take care of your problems, they only worry about their own grandkids that attend this facility. When Parents have requested that they put video cameras in the rooms so that the holster could be monitored the owners say “it’s too expensive to do that”, even though this is one of the more expensive daycares in our area and one of the lowest paid to employees (which means the owners are pocketing all the money for themselves). I also believe they don’t want cameras here because then they will be caught breaking state regulations. The floors in this family are so dirty that my child would come home with black hands and feet from crawling and walking around during the day. The play ground equipment is minimal and outdated. I do not recommend this daycare to anyone at this time. Until they get cameras at this facility, to verify the safety and well-being of children, I would stay away from here!
