The management/owners of the daycare attempted to cover up intentional child abuse that occurred on their premises. One of the daycare employees snatched a toddler by the arm and slammed his face into the ground, causing his teeth to cut completely through his lip. The lacerations required stitches and the child has been unable to drink milk with the milk leaking through the hole in his lip.

When the abuse occurred the parents were given an incident report that stated the child “fell.” The parents had no idea that the child was a victim of abuse until they were alerted by an anonymous whistleblower. The whistleblower warned the parents that the manager/owner (Robbie & Stacey) were not going to tell them the truth about what really happened. When the parents confronted Robbie, he stonewalled, refused to tell truth about what happened, and refused to show the parents the surveillance video, even though he’s shown surveillance footage to other parents in the past. Not only that, Robbie tried to identify the anonymous whistleblower instead of using due diligence to report the child abuse to the police and to child protective services. The whistleblower feared retaliation from Robbie & Stacey for coming forward with the truth so she should remain anonymous.

The parents didn’t get any real answers until they called the police and reported the incident to child protective services. Robbie didn’t show the video until he was confronted by the police the following day. It wasn’t until the police told the parents about the horrible video that they found out what really happened. That’s right, the parents couldn’t get any answers from daycare management until last enforcement got involved. They tried to sweep everything under the rug but failed to do so because an anonymous whistleblower stepped forward and told the truth. After being confronted by the police and the parents, daycare management reported what happened days after the child abuse occurred just to save their own hides. Robbie and Stacey FAILED to IMMEDIATELY report the child abuse to police as soon as they became aware of it.

At this time the child abuser has been fired and arrested. Stacey and Robbie are currently under criminal investigation for failure to report child abuse and may face felony convictions. If convicted, Robbie and Stacey face up to 5 years in state prison. The people involved are also reviewing their legal options, and a lawsuit may be filed against the daycare center based on the advise of legal counsel. Hopefully the State Attorney will make the right decision so that Robbie and Stacey will be brought to justice under the law.

The management/owners of the daycare are continuing to spread half truths and try to cover up what happened. They are more concerned about protecting their business than protecting the children under their care. Please consider the fact that these people attempted to cover up a horrible act of child abuse before you decide whether you want to entrust them with the care of your child.
