Shellie's Play Place

Shellie and her staff have always gone above and beyond to make my children safe and happy. My kids come home excited to talk about the fun things they do and how they enjoyed the crafts/playing. The entire staff is kind and I feel comfortable knowing my children are in good hands while I am at work. They always keep me updated and do an amazing job of meeting my kids needs. Shellie's is a reliable care provider and I am so grateful for all they have done for us.

The fact that I had to give this place a star is RIDICULOUS. One of my friends child goes there and it was brought to my attention that they do not watch these little ones. There was an incident in which involved her child and was informed about it but told a different story, on the message it was told that the child was harmed and did it themselves, but when approached by a staff member; was told a former teacher did it. Then was told that they were injured by another child. The fat one DOES infact yell at the children I was arriving this morning to drop my littles off as I watched this big lady Rip a little one right out of this mothers arms. I then followed her to her car and watched as she started to cry. I have never in my life felt so bad for anyone or any child but this place is THE WORST place to let your child(ren) attend. They need to be watched all day or someone need to go in and do (undercover work) like a parent in the mornings to catch the attitude from the bigger lady and the Lazyness, as I have observed today, they have two dogs one in which who seems to have worms- judging based on when a dog rubs there butts across the ground or floor that it what I was told. They use up everyone’s wipes if one child is without causing parents to buy more! And Shelly is A VERY unsafe driver, as she flew by my home on the Main Street and almost hit my daughter and I as I was getting ready to bring her to the high school.

The reason I am writing this so late is because what they have done has affected my child’s speech. They forced him to nap they only gave the babies attention and the big old fat one always sitting down yells at the kids instead of getting off her a**. The owner says she opens at 6 and doesn’t even get there until after 6. I was almost late for work many times. I also saw the girl that has dark circles around her eyes push a kid back into the car when she was trying to get out at the school. Just very unprofessional and shouldn’t be caring for children and having people work for her that don’t have the experience. I have reported her to the state and I can see many violations on here.

If I could do a zero star rating I would. This place made my son sleep all day from the time he got there to the time I picked him up because they were too lazy to watch him. The owner is rude to her employees and makes them do everything for her. Especially the new staff, she makes the new ones do all the cleaning while everyone else sits on their phones. Oh and I drove by several times when kids were outside either unattended or staff was on their phones not paying attention anyways.

Shellie has been nothing but amazing. She has always come through for my child and provided the best care possible. Shellie is more than willing to work around people's financial troubles and help them out.
