Love Kat's. They are the best! My daughter loves all the staff
One word: NEGLIGENT. The incident that occurred took place April 2021. My two year old son spent 1 week under the supervision and "care" of the owner's daughter, who at the time was assigned the infant classroom (may still be) but was filling in her for my son's regular teacher.
On this day, I arrived earlier than usual to find my son's class on the playground. What I walked up on left me speechless: the nameless, owner's daughter/teacher met me at the gate to inform me my son climbed up on a picnic table, fell over, hit his head and was PUT IN TIMEOUT. Immediately, I noted my little boy had HUGE swelling and bleeding knot on the back of his head and became hysterical when he realized someone safe(his mother) was in his presence. The owner's daughter took no responsibility for incident and instead blamed my 2 year old.
Ask yourself: Why was my child in timeout and not taken inside to receive care for the wound received due to this individual's NEGLIGENCE? Lo and behold, the incident was never documented on ProCare. And after receiving a call from the director 1 week later(the nameless, negligent teacher's mother and owner Kathy), I brought up the incident and was immediately dismissed. Kathy, the owner, informed me she would not tolerate an upset parent and that my child was being removed from the daycare. She hung up on me. Within the hour, our Procare profile was removed so it looked as though he never attended despite being there for 4 months total.
Hands down, the absolute WORST childcare experience I've ever had and I am a mother of 3. Never in my parenthood have any of my children experienced or endured an accident under my supervision or the supervision of someone of whom I'm paying. This was a classic case of child neglect.
Kat's Little Angels is overpriced, unsafe-- a textbook scam. Don't believe the obviously desperate billboards around Savannah. Hoping to save another child and family from this nightmare.
