Description: Tendercare Child Centers, established in 1986, are licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. We are family-owned and have two locations to meet your needs. Our program is designed to address each child’s needs to expand their educational and emotional development. The Directors, teaching staff, and programs offer a stimulating and caring atmosphere. We promote a partnership between parents and caregivers so we may foster a continuum between home and school.
Each child is viewed as an individual. They are encouraged to develop interpersonal relationships with classmates and adults. Our staff works to build self-esteem in all situations to help each child develop a positive self-image and a greater ability to interact with the world with confidence.
The teachers assist the children with their relationships and help them to understand their behavior and feelings. All children are treated with respect and empathy by our staff, which nurtures them, thus developing a positive self-image.
Our facilities are licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services and include infant, toddler, preschool (three and four year olds) and after-school programs.

I absolutely love this daycare! My child has been going to Tendercare since he was 4 months old. He is now 11 months and it's doing fantastic! The teacher in the infant room actually care about the families and children there. It's so hard to find good people to trust with your child. They are amazing.
This daycare is absolutely terrible! Staff take their anger out on children, are on their phones constantly and don't focus on children, hire employees that mentally can't handle children and have constant anxiety attacks, ignore crying infants to be on phones, and even sleep while they are supposed to be supervising children while children are napping! I do not recommend this place!
This day care is horrific. Unreliable, understaffed & unorganized. They do not provide a safe nurturing atmosphere what so ever. I do not recommend the center to anyone.
