I have used this provider for less than 6 months

I really wanted to like The Learning Nest, but feel should give a review to warn other parents about this place.
1) Communication: It's not good. Don't expect any kind of communication on drop off, pick up, by email or through an app of what is going on. We were there for 2 months and got nothing
2) Safety: Many times, when I came to the back entrance there was a new person watching the kids at recess. They always had to ask which one was my kid and without hesitation or any ID checks, would give me my daughter
3) Dirty: They spend a lot of time outside and would get filthy. There isn't really any covered area. They need to invest in some woodchips. I should have known it would be like this when the playground equipment was really dirty on the orientation
4) Bait and Switch: I loved the idea that my daughter could learn Spanish and Mandarin. I thought it would be songs, basic greetings. Instead, I found they were speaking a lot of Spanish. I asked in the conference, how much spanish is spoken, it seems like a lot. And they said 80%! In my initial conversation pre-enrollment they never mentioned this. I even asked Ciara during orientation and she never mentioned this she said it was mostly english. Fatima told me during the conference that it was clearly stated this on the website. I dont think it does. It mentions Spanish Immersion one spot if you look closely.
5) Final Straw: I took my daughter out of the school because 80% spanish was just too much for us. She barely knew any of the kids' names. In the school halloween picture, none of the kids were smiling (something my mother in law noticed, not me). I followed up with the school giving my name, phone and email to Ciara asking if she would pass it along to the mom of a kid in the class for a playdate. I wasnt asking for her contact information. The mom could contact me or not. They told me "no." This really shows a deep level of disdain and in my opinion dismissiveness of the kids' well being. There are very few to no reviews on this school. Please be aware.
