If you have a high functioning child with down syndrome who has been in an average daycare since she was five and now 13, don’t even call about their after school program because this director literally told me he is not comfortable having any child with any disability and he will not take them; talk about discriminatory practices! And the lady who answered and gave him the phone said “she said her child is normal,”. Wow. They talked about my child like she wasn’t a person.
