My daughter went to this location for 2.5 years. And sadly I had to immediately remove her from the program. During a 'Beach Day' at school, and it was 2 days in a row this incident happened. Her Pre-K teacher brought her and other children (4 total) both boy AND girls into a closet to change from their clothes to a bathing suit which required them to remove clothes (other than underwear) My daughter came home upset, and said she felt uncomfortable that boys were looking at her 'private parts'. I immediately reached out to the Director, she said she spoke to the teacher and denied it. I advised her that my daughter had also told me it happened the day before as well with different group of boys and girls, so this was not a one time occurence. I was feeling as though I was being lied to, and I asked for her to speak with the Aides, she said she did and same story, I asked to speak to the Board of Directors as the Director was insisting it was 'normal' behavior, and 'ok' for kids to see each other naked, and if I would of told her otherwise she would of made arrangements. I was refused an option to speak to the Board. I have a trail of emails to back up the story, it was disturbing to think that children (she wasn't the only one) uncomfortable being naked in front of their classmates was considered normal, and that it was being justified. I reached out to file a complaint and the licensor I spoke to was extremely rude, and did nothing but try to help the Director get out of the situation, I had to escalate it to her boss, as I felt like there was favortism to the daycare. I removed her immediately because I felt it was an unsafe environment for my daughter the situation happened on Friday I removed her on the following Monday. Only after complaining to the licensor was I given the option to speak to the Board, and it was to late at that point. This PreK teacher had also engaged my daughter in political discussions, and also I found out was watching kids in the daycare in her home while she was collecting unemployment due to COVID closing. I spoke to the Director about this prior to this incident. The faith and trust I had in the school was gone, I would suggest you find out what their policy is about changing clothes in front of peers before you allow your child to go there.
