Little Ambassadors' Academy - Overlee

We had our son in LAA for 9 months and we observed the following issues: i) our child was asked to nap in the hallway a number of times (his teacher claimed that he was playing or chatting-- it was an extremely unreasonable measure for a pre-school child in our view); ii) children are provided too many unhealthy snacks and spent significant time on the I-Pad; iii) our sons' teacher used snacks to reward the children who took naps; iv) we went through a rough teacher transition and one or both teachers were out quite frequently (one of them sent the class her wife's maternity shoot photos where she was dressed inappropriately). Most importantly, our son's teacher was highly disrespectful and defiant when we tried to address some of these issues. She claimed the problem was that our son did not communicate directly to her. We tried to bring these things up with the administration, but unfortunately they denied any wrongdoing and we didn't see any changes made. We did not trust the principal teacher and had to leave the school before the end of the year. Despite many positive reviews in other places, this was not the kind of education we were looking for in a pre-school.
