This week a video circulated on social media showing two teachers getting drunk in a toddler classroom at this location. I called the center and spoke to Ms. Ruby and verified that this incident took place. What is particularly alarming in this video is the fact that the girls have the bottles of alcohol out on the table and are walking around the classroom taking shots from alcohol mini's as if this type of behavior is a regular occurence.
I don't understand how the teacher has this level of audacity UNLESS the Director never walks into the classroom to check to see what is going on. Taking shots at 8:30 a.m. in a daycare class full of babies is unprofessional and unacceptable. Ms. Ruby states that the girls were terminated; however, criminal charges should be filed for child endangerment. Here is the video link of the event that took place.

This behavior is very dangerous to the children. Somebody needs to address this with the owner Sally Burton or Director Ms.Ruby. The Learning Tree has a longstanding history of violations. Why is no one making rounds through the center to ensure the safety of the children?
Again, by looking at this video and how brazen the teachers are, it is obvious that they were confident no one would walk in. What if a child ingested had accidentally grabbed one of the bottles on the table and ingested it? DHR needs to shut this place down. There is NO excuse for this to happen.
