Kids Cove Learning Academy

Very disappointed. I think the teachers need more training (at least my daughters). No compassion, patience or whatsoever for a 19 months old who was 24/7 with her mum but sees her routine abruptly change because I had to go back to work. Every time I will come pick my daughter up all I hear is your daughter cries all day, throw tantrums and does not want to eat. It is her FIRST WEEK so yes shebis going to cry!

My daughter basically started on Monday, and Wednesday I informed the Director that I had to find a daycare closer to work because I was struggling to get there before their closing time. I am not sure if that is the reason why everything went south after. My daughter has never been sick, but as soon as she started she came back home with runny nose and sore throat. And that was expected so I would not complain about it. I drop her off on Thursday and inform the teacher that she does not feel well so she would be extra fussy, and please monitor her closely and inform me in case she develops any fever. Not even after an hour I get the call that my daughter will not stop crying and she is getting all red, maybe a rash. I send my friend to pick her up. As soon as she gets home we facetime and my daughter is watching tv and singing, no rash, no fever. Apparently she just did not want to be in daycare (which is understandable. I don't want to go to work but I have to!). Icing on the cake, my friend asks for her bag and sippy cups, apparently the teacher says that I took everything with me on Monday (??!) So they let her leave just with my daughter. she had to buy diapers for the day. I called the Director to express my frustration and went back on Friday to get all her stuff since it was supposed to be her last day anyway. All I got as an explanation was that it was all a misunderstanding. But I did get charged for the whole week and even gave them back the key that now that Im thinking about it I had paid for.

Very disappointed! My husband rushed back home (he works out of town) and took the next day off just to come home and find out that she does not have any fever and looks like her teacher just did not want to deal with a fussy toddler who was going to leave anyway.

Please provide more training and do better with the next "difficult" kid that is going to have a hard time adjusting to a new routine!
